If you have never had the opportunity to spend any time on a cruise ship ~ You must try one of the coastal cruises that start at just 1 night (sail from Vancouver to Seattle) just to get an idea of the world of cruising!  A group of us had a fantastic time on this 1 night cruise from Seattle to Vancouver aboard the Golden Princess in September, 2010.  The weather was exceptional ~ making the pools & hot tubs full of people with the crew and passengers dancing the afternoon away on the deck.  It was a great experience and definitely a great way to spend a weekend.  It was very affordable (at less than $80 per person for the cruise portion which includes food and entertainment).  There are shuttles available from Vancouver areas to/from Seattle, as well as the train.

These 1 day, 2 day and 3 day coastal cruises don’t run all year ~ contact me to find out when the next sailing is to get your cruising passport started!
