The El Dorado Royale is an adult only resort near Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen. This 5* resort is quite large with 639 suites and 169 Casita suites. There are 11 pools to choose from including a relaxing, quiet pool at the Healthy Bar which serves fabulous protein shakes, healthy meals and snacks all day long.
You will enjoy the waiter service from one of the loung chairs or ample beach beds throughout the resort. There is a spa and gym and of course a couple of shops for those much needed souveniers or more sunscreen.
The restaurants at this resort serve gourmet food including organically grown items from their own greenhouse on property. There are Italian, Mexican, Caribbean, International and Fondue restaurants to choose from. A real treat is the Las Fuentes Restaurant that has a culinary theatre and lounge so you can actually watch (and learn) as the chef prepares the meals.
This large resort has beautiful grounds throughout that make for a wonderful walk to dinner or even use one of the bikes available on property and enjoy a nice bike ride around the resort. There are little golf carts that travel the paths if you prefer a ride to the main buildings. The Casitas are at one end of the resort, lining the ocean. Each section of casitas has it’s own pool and bar area as well as some of the lower level rooms are swim-up Jacuzzi Jr. suites.
All of the junior suites have 24 hour room service, jacuzzi’s and bottle of champagne on arrival. There is also a wedding chapel on the beachfront for a wonderful, memorable spot for your wedding or vow renewal. You can choose from a variety of outdoor/beach front locations for your wedding as well as the chapel.
